Description of Lithium 12-Hydroxystearate
Lithium grease is made by thickening mineral oil with Lithium 12-Hydroxystearate soap and adding oxygen, rust, corrosion, and other extreme pressure antiwear additives. Lithium grease has excellent water resistance, mechanical stability, extreme pressure resistance, water-resistance and pumping, rust resistance, and oxidation stability. Lithium grease can also give full play to its excellent lubrication performance under extreme operating conditions.

Features of Lithium 12-Hydroxystearate
(1)Lithium 12-Hydroxystearate grease thickened, only two intersecting temperature, the first intersection temperature (i.e., from the pseudo gel state to a gel state) generally above 170 ℃, the second phase transition temperature (that is, from gel state to the sol state) is in commonly 200 ℃ above, therefore, was elected with suitable for mineral oil, can use for a long time at 120 ℃ or short-term use to 150 ℃.
(2) Lithium 12-Hydroxystearate thickened grease can be seen through the electron microscope its soap fibers form a double-stranded, tangled twisted ribbon, therefore, has excellent mechanical stability.
(3) Lithium 12-Hydroxystearate thickened grease on the surface of soap fiber liquid phase bonding strength, and on the crystal lattice liquid phase bonding strength is more substantial, therefore, Lithium base grease has better colloidal stability.
