The most common use of teflon 3mm is the coating of non-stick pans to prevent food from sticking. Teflon is also used as an inner coating of pipes to stop them from reacting with corrosive chemicals passing through them. The Teflon name is generally used to describe PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), although it is sometimes applied to other fluoropolymers such as PFA (Perfluoroethylene Propylene) and FEP (Perfluoroethylene). PTFE is one of the most versatile plastic materials, able to operate in extremely wide temperature ranges with no change to its own physical and chemical properties.
Our 200mm teflon gasket is designed to fit with class 150 raised face flanges, it is made from premium-grade teflon material and offers excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, extreme temperatures and vibration movement. Please refer to the tab downloads for extensive information regarding chemical resistance and bending radius or contact Jeroen our product specialist with any questions.
